In Lloret de Mar water sports leave from two spots: almost everything from the shore of Fenals beach, and a jet ski safari from the Club Nàutic de Cala Canyelles. At Fenals there is parasailing, banana boat, towed inflatables (Crazy UFO, Flyfish and Slyder), no-licence jet ski and packs that combine several rides in one outing.
The cheapest is the banana boat, from 20 € per person; the inflatables cost 25 or 30 €, parasailing 70 € per person and the jet ski from 95 € per ski, with one or two riders. On Fenals beach you book a time between 10:30 and 19:30.
With children, parasailing takes riders from age 6 and needs no physical effort: a flight of about 10 minutes up to 50 metres above the sea, solo, tandem or as a trio. The banana boat, for groups of up to 12, and the Crazy UFO, which spins without jumps so hardly anyone falls off, are the calmest towed rides; the Flyfish, which lifts off the water with every wave, is the wildest.
The jet ski needs no licence, but it does need age: at Fenals, from 16 with parental consent. To try several things, the Mini Pack combines banana boat, Crazy UFO and Flyfish for 65 €; the Duo Pack, parasailing and banana boat for 80 €; and the Holiday Pack, parasailing and the Mini Pack for 125 €. Each is 10 € cheaper than booking separately.
Parasailing, the banana boat and the single inflatables are instant booking: the QR pass arrives as soon as you pay. The jet ski and the packs are on request: the amount is held on your card and the centre confirms within 24 hours; if it can't, nothing is charged.
Cancelling up to 24 hours before the booked time is free; after that there is no refund. A life jacket is included on parasailing, the inflatables and the packs, and on the Fenals jet ski so are fuel, insurance and lockers.
