The banana boat on the Costa Brava leaves from two beaches 10 minutes apart by car: Fenals beach in Lloret de Mar and s'Abanell beach in Blanes. On both, adults pay 20 €, no previous experience is needed and it is the towed ride almost everyone starts with.
What changes is the format: at Fenals the ride lasts 10 minutes and takes a group of up to 12; at s'Abanell it is 20 minutes and you choose between the classic banana and the double banana, which has two floats side by side and hardly ever tips.
For a big group that wants to fall in, the Fenals banana: up to 12 people on the same ride, with turns, speed and a guaranteed dunking. If you also want to try something else, at Fenals the banana comes in two packs: the Mini Pack, with the Crazy UFO and Flyfish, from 65 €, and the Duo Pack, with a parasailing flight, from 80 €.
For small children or anyone a bit nervous, the double banana in Blanes: it stays level the whole way and falls are the exception. And if you want longer on the water, the 20 minutes at s'Abanell double the Fenals ride for the same price.
All three bananas are instant booking: you pick the day and time, pay and the QR pass arrives by email straight away; on the beach you just show it on your phone. The Fenals packs are on request: the centre confirms in under 24 hours and only then is it charged; if it cannot, you pay nothing.
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before on most listings; the exact deadline is written on each one before you pay. Both beaches sell from 1 May to 12 October.
