On s'Abanell beach in Blanes there are four boat-towed inflatables: Family Sofa, Rafting, Crazy Sofa and Flyfish. Adults pay 25 € on any of them; children aged 4 to 12 pay 15 to 25 € depending on the ride. Each session lasts 20 minutes, life jacket included. Blanes is 10 minutes from Lloret de Mar.
They run from least to most movement, so you choose by age and appetite: from the calm sofa for grandparents and children not yet sure of the sea to the wing that lifts off the water and flies a few metres before dropping back.
The Family Sofa is the sofa in its gentle version: the speedboat pulls softly and you ride sitting up, watching the Blanes coast; children pay 15 €. Rafting, also 15 € for children, is ridden lying face down on a mattress level with the water: at speed it takes off and lands.
The Crazy Sofa (children 20 €) is the same sofa with the boat zigzagging: centrifugal force throws you from side to side with jumps over the wake. The Flyfish (25 € for everyone) is shaped like a wing and lifts off the water: it is the most intense and the one groups ask for most.
