Barcelona · 180 min · 2 €+ · Roots & Roads Barcelona
Walk 2,000 years of Barcelona's history in a single 3-hour tour, from the Sagrada Família to the Gothic Quarter, with a local guide and tipping at the end for what it was worth. Most Barcelona tours make you choose: the medieval old town, or Gaudí. This one connects both, because the city is one continuous line from Roman Barcino to the Sagrada Família rising today. You start at the Sagrada Família and see it from the outside while you discover its symbolism and why it is still unfinished after more than 140 years. After a short metro ride, you walk down Passeig de Gràcia, past Casa Batlló's dragon-scaled roof and Casa Milà's wave-like balconies. Halfway through there is a 10-minute break with restrooms, where you can buy food and drinks. Then you enter the Gothic Quarter, the medieval heart of the old city. The group stays small and you can ask questions the whole way. Everything is seen from the outside, so there are no tickets to buy and no lines to wait in. After the tour, every guest gets a free digital local guide with restaurants, food and drink, museums and ideas for the rest of the trip. Lasts 3 hours Starts at the Sagrada Família and ends in the Gothic Quarter Does not include entry to the inside of the Sagrada Família
