You fly securely connected to a certified professional pilot who handles take-off, flight control and landing: you just take a few steps into the wind and enjoy the view. No previous experience is required. Unlike mountain destinations that depend on seasonal thermals, here the Atlantic trade winds and the coastal cliffs provide steady ridge lift, so the flight is smooth and panoramic rather than an aggressive climb: you glide over the cliffs, the black-sand beaches and the ocean, and with the right wind direction the route can reach La Graciosa or the Mirador del Río. On arrival the assistant walks you through everything in detail (equipment, harness, body position, take-off and landing technique and the weather picture for the day), unhurried and answering every question before launch. You choose the duration when booking; the flying area is decided each day by the wind direction, which is why the meeting point is confirmed before departure.

The meeting point depends on which area the wind allows that day and is confirmed before departure. The usual ones: the car park at Playa de la Cantería in Órzola (also for the Mirador del Río, from where a shuttle drives up to the launch site); the LZ-1 road at Mala; and the roundabout on the Famara road in Teguise. If you travel by public transport, pick-up is at the bus stop in the port of Órzola.

How do I receive my booking?
Right after paying you get a boarding pass with a QR code by email. Show it at the meeting point and you're in.
Is the payment secure? Is the price final?
You pay by card through Stripe, with no surcharges. The price you see is frozen when you book.
When is my booking confirmed?
We don't charge you until the centre confirms, within 24h. We hold the amount on your card meanwhile; if they can't take you, it's released and you pay nothing.
Can I cancel if something comes up?
Yes: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time — email info@activitatum.com with your booking code. If the centre cancels or bad weather makes it impossible, you change the date at no cost or get the amount back. If you cancel later than that, this activity gives you back 50 % of what you paid.
Can I book several activities at once?
Yes. Every activity in the catalogue is booked and paid for in the same place, whichever centre runs it, and each one arrives with its own QR pass.
