Walk through Córdoba of the three cultures, from San Basilio to the Jewish Quarter, with an official guide who tells it in English, paying for the tour with a tip at the end. Córdoba is the only city in the world with four UNESCO World Heritage listings, so there is history on every corner. We set off from Paseo de la Victoria, in front of the Eurostars Palace hotel, and walk into San Basilio, the quarter of whitewashed houses and flower-filled patios that grew up in the shadow of the Alcázar and the Royal Stables. From there we move into the Jewish Quarter: the Zoco Municipal de Artesanía, with its leather, silver and pottery workshops around a courtyard, and Plaza del Cardenal Salazar, the old baroque hospital that is now a university faculty. We finish in the city's two most famous alleys: Calleja del Pañuelo, as narrow as an unfolded handkerchief and ending in a tiny square, and Calleja de las Flores, with the tower of the Mosque-Cathedral framed between geraniums. Along the way we tell you how Jews, Muslims and Christians lived side by side here and the legacy they left: the Mosque-Cathedral, the Alcázar and the Jewish Quarter itself. Duration: 1 h 30 min, on foot and entirely outdoors: we don't go inside any monument, so there are no tickets to pay. Tour in English. Departs every day at 09:30. A minimum of 4 people is needed for the group to run; large groups of up to 20 people. Wheelchair accessible, although some cobbled stretches are uncomfortable. You can bring your pet. The tip is handed to the guide at the end, in cash, Bizum or PayPal. Wear comfortable shoes and, in summer, bring water and sun protection.
